Akhand is a student at The Scindia School, Fort Gwalior. His interests lie at the intersection of science, leadership, and public engagement, with a long-term aspiration to serve in the Indian Air Force through the National Defence Academy.

Recognized as a Scholar of the school and a recipient of multiple academic distinctions, he combines academic discipline with diverse extracurricular involvement. In athletics, he has represented his school at the SGFI State level and national competitions. Alongside sport, he remains actively engaged in music, performing with both the school's rock band and brass band.

Akhand currently serves as Secretary of the Fort Biosphere Project, the school's environmental sustainability initiative, where he helps lead efforts promoting ecological awareness and responsible resource use. Lakshya Tulsian serves as the Head of Delegate Affairs for The Scindia School Model United Nations 2026, bringing to the Secretariat a strong foundation in diplomacy, journalism, and international engagement.

A student of The Scindia School, India, Lakshya has built a profile that bridges global diplomacy with youth leadership. He represented India at COP28 under the United Nations Climate Action platform, engaging with international policymakers and youth leaders on pressing climate concerns. His work in diplomatic journalism has brought him into close interaction with several global and national leaders while reporting for the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, covering diplomatic engagements and policy discussions. Lakshya has worked as a journalist to ambassadors from Jordan, Cuba, Armenia, Ireland, and Israel, gaining exposure to the intersection of governance, diplomacy, and international relations. He is also an active member of the United Nations Youth Diplomats network, contributing to youth-led diplomatic engagement on global platforms. Within the Model United Nations circuit, Lakshya has participated in 25+ national and international conferences as a delegate, journalist, chairperson, and secretariat member, earning several recognitions including Secretary General's Best Delegate at IPSCMUN Nationals and multiple journalism awards.
