Granth Mehta
Meet The Vice Chairperson
“Power in a democracy is never absolute — it is questioned across the floor, defended through debate, and ultimately judged by the people it affects.”
In an era where political discourse is shaped as much by strategy as by speech, Granth Mehta steps into the role of Vice Chairperson of the Lok Sabha Committee at SCIMUN 2026 with a firm belief in disciplined parliamentary debate and purposeful legislative deliberation.
For Granth, a committee is not merely a forum — it is a parliamentary battlefield where policy, persuasion, and political accountability intersect. Every motion carries weight, every Point of Order signals procedural awareness, and every bill debated reflects the realities of democratic governance.
With prior experience navigating intense discussions and structured deliberations, he brings to the dais a leadership style defined by composure, impartiality, and procedural precision.
As Vice Chairperson, Granth is committed to fostering an environment where preparation is respected, procedure is precise, and parliamentary acumen is rewarded.
At SCIMUN 2026, he looks forward to witnessing compelling speeches, strategic alliances, and legislation forged through rigorous parliamentary debate.
