"Eradicating Child Labor in Critical Mineral Supply Chains Essential for the Global Green Energy Transition"
UNICEF champions the rights and well-being of children worldwide. At SCIMUN 2026, the focus will be on “Eradicating Child Labor in Critical Mineral Supply Chains Essential for the Global Green Energy Transition.” Delegates will explore how children are affected by industrial demand, examining international labor laws, corporate responsibility, and global sustainability goals. Participants will assume roles of member states and NGOs, negotiating strategies to ensure ethical practices while promoting global development.
This committee develops awareness of humanitarian and policy challenges at the intersection of economic development and child rights. Delegates refine negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills while considering both legal frameworks and moral obligations in a globalized economy.

Aryan Bhagat
Meet The Vice Chairperson
“True leadership in diplomacy lies not in the volume of one’s voice, but in the clarity of one’s vision.”
In an era where humanitarian challenges demand both conviction and collaboration, Aryan Bhagat assumes the role of Vice Chairperson of the UNICEF Committee at SCIMUN 2026 with a resolute belief in structured dialogue and solution-oriented debate.
For Aryan, a committee is more than a platform for discussion — it is a policy laboratory where ideas must withstand scrutiny and empathy must align with execution. Every moderated caucus shapes direction, every draft resolution reflects intent, and every amendment tests the strength of collective resolve. Drawing from experience in dynamic deliberative spaces, he brings to the dais a leadership style characterized by composure, fairness, and procedural discipline.
Deeply engaged with themes of child rights, global development frameworks, and institutional accountability, Aryan encourages delegates to move beyond rhetorical idealism and toward pragmatic humanitarian strategy. He values debate that acknowledges geopolitical realities while remaining firmly anchored in the mandate of protection, equity, and sustainable progress.
As Vice Chairperson of the UNICEF Committee, Aryan is committed to fostering an environment where preparation is evident, diplomacy is measured, and policy coherence is paramount. Delegates can expect a committee room defined by intellectual depth, structured negotiation, and meaningful collaboration.
At SCIMUN 2026, Aryan looks forward to witnessing transformative proposals, principled compromise, and resolutions crafted through informed and purposeful contention — reflecting the spirit of multilateralism in service of global welfare.
